About
Tablier was born from a gap. On one side, sidebar-and-spaces browsers showed we could browse differently, without drowning in tabs. On the other, visual link managers, with boards and columns, showed a link collection could be beautiful and organized in one gesture. No tool did both well. And the ones that came close wanted an account, a subscription, a cloud.
Tablier brings those two ideas together in a Chrome extension, with one non-negotiable principle: your links belong to you. No account, no server, no data collection. Everything lives in your browser, with an automatic backup to a folder of your choice, a 30-day trash, and open exports. If Tablier disappeared tomorrow, you keep everything.
That's where the name comes from: a “tablier” is a French work apron, with a big front pocket where you slip whatever you want to keep at hand. The Pocket is, fittingly, the name of the board that catches your captures.
Tablier is built by one person, with care for performance, restraint and detail. It is free and will stay free.
